Family Farm Wedding on Film & Super 8 Video

category:

In September, a beautiful family farm was the setting for Vanessa and Greg’s wedding. This was no ordinary day. It marked the spot where they first met. Their sweet dog, Riot, joined them to make it even more special.

The weather was perfect. The sun shone bright, creating a warm glow across the fields. Vanessa and Greg exchanged vows in a charming corn field, surrounded by their closest friends and family. It was a moment filled with love and laughter.

I focused on their dog, Riot, capturing those precious moments. He seemed to know he was part of something big. His joy was infectious. The couple wanted their day to feel real and timeless. Shooting on 35mm film and Super 8 video helped with that. Film brings a unique warmth and character that digital images can’t match. Each frame tells a story in a beautiful way.

After the ceremony, the celebration moved to a cozy barn setting. Inside, the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. Guests danced the night away, the music mixing with the sound of joy and laughter. The barn felt alive with happiness, just like the couple.

Every image I took reflected the magic of the farm. The rolling fields, the rustic charm of the barn, and the love shared by all created a perfect backdrop. Every click of the camera captured a moment in time, one that Vanessa and Greg will cherish forever.

As the evening went on, the stars appeared, lighting up the night sky. It was a perfect ending to a beautiful day. The memories created here will last a lifetime, much like their photographs.

I approach my work the way I approach life: with curiosity, intention, and an appreciation for the beauty in the in-between. My lens is drawn to quiet gestures, the weight of a glance, the way light and shadow tell their own story. Each frame is a reflection—not just of what’s in front of me, but of the places I’ve been, and the way I’ve learned to see.

When I'm not photographing weddings, I'm likely spending time with my family, planning my next trip, or rewatching a favourite film with my wiener dog nearby.

I am a mom of three, based north of Toronto, Canada and have carried some kind of camera in my hands since I can remember.
Creating is all I have ever loved to do.

My photos are all about feeling caught in the moment with a hint of editorial. I'm inspired by analog formats, messy details and unfiltered moments. Photography is never just about images—it is about preservation. A way to hold onto fleeting moments, to see and be seen. Memories of loved ones. What started as a quiet fascination became second nature, almost like learning a new language.

Editorial, documentary, intuitive art for the moments you’ll feel

forever.
